History

I have been working in the nonprofit industry for nearly 20 years.  I have had the pleasure of working in foundations whose missions were to assist nonprofits with one time and ongoing operation and program support.  Part of that effort focused on ensuring that the donors felt as though their gifts were being managed properly and their intent of those gifts was being fulfilled. Another focus has been to assist the nonprofits to become or remain a viable organization.  Two areas of focus for achieving this are implementing board best practices and appropriate financial internal controls. 

It became clear to me that many of the smaller nonprofits needed advanced financial expertise to grow to the next level of sustainability.  This is what drove me to open Nonprofit Financial Consulting.  I am utilizing my years of experience in the larger foundation sector to assist smaller nonprofits to raise their level of financial integrity. My goal is that every nonprofit I serve may continue to earn the trust and financial support of donors interested in their mission.
